There is still no confirmed launch date for the new Star Wars Battlefront game by Dice but judging by the silence on the game at present it appears Dice is hard at work creating the highly anticipated next chapter in the franchise.

Using the original models and locations from the original Star Wars trilogy, Dice is hoping to deliver the definitive fans game and a potential release could co-incide with the release of the new movie Star Wars VII next Summer.

Players will be able to fight in truly epic Star Wars battles on iconic planets as they rise through the ranks playing as either the Rebel Forces or the evil Galactic Empire. Whether fighting through blaster-wielding troops, or in control of your favorite Star Wars fighting vehicles like Snowspeeders, AT–ST's and Speeder Bikes... Star Wars Battlefront puts you at the center of the galactic conflict.

I am buzzing for its release next year.
